Abandoned by his mother at birth, Resper was left to survive a cold moonless night shivering in the cold while he watched his mother walk away with his brothers and sisters. After he was licked clean and his fur showed his mother was stunned by what she saw and it revolted her, and she struck his face with her paw, opening a lightning bolt shaped scar on his left eye that doesn’t seem to heal. After a few years the scar gained a red tint and seemed to merge with his fur.

My entry for 's Secret Santa! :}

My person to gift to was . On her wishlist was some fanart of one of her characters.

I spotted her wolf character, Resper, and immediately loved him. His story is so sad, but it was creative and good, hence this piece.

This is the scene where poor Resper watches his mother and siblings walk away. The reason he's not facing the background is because I made it two perspectives - one of his face and the other (the background) of what he's seeing.
